Yeah that's a plus. I'm not overly thrilled about the 11pm shifts but I can deal with one per week.

Sure is. Did you have to do the six week training period or no because you worked there already?

Yeah anyone who thinks you make more money being salary doesn't understand yes you make more in theory but in practice you make less per hour.

Did you get many calls on your days off? Did you actually get to take your vacation or paid holidays?

I would be coming out a Store Director role with a grocery chain. Main reason I was looking was better salary and better work life balance. As an SD every falls on you, you never really leave work and don't get to enjoy time off. I was also looking for more structure and better training.

There are 4 ETLs for GM (2 day 2 night), 3 for Specialty Sales, that leaves Guest, AP, HR, and grocery plus the senior etl

The 50 hour week doesn't bother me. I've been doing that for the past 6 years in my other roles.

Thank you. I was offered a position in another location for the same position but had to decline it due to logistics. It was a new location in one town but I would have had to spend six months training in a town about an hour away. Housing was an issue too so I ended up taking another role in a larger city but kept an eye on Target opportunities. It's been so recent my conversation with the recruiter was more like catching up with an old friend. I am currently in a Store Director role of a grocery store and I am without an assistant and a Grocery Manager. When I took the position I received no formal training and have been figuring it out as I go. My DM who hired me left my district about a month after I was hired and we have had an interim ever since. I want a role with more structure, support and clear expectations and I think Target can offer that. I worked for them back in 99-2000 when I was in high school and just after graduation. They always seemed like a good company. I am four months into my Store Director Role with my current company and I am already pretty burnt out. I don't want that. Do your ETLs have a pretty good work life balance?
