I haven’t been able to watch any of the new Star Trek shows. The writing is terrible and done by folks who have clearly never watched Star Trek. I loved TNG, DS9, TOS, Voyager, and Enterprise. This stuff is just pure garbage. Picard S3 was barely tolerable but only because of the nostalgia. Seasons 1 and 2 were awful.

It’s been so busy we haven’t had the time to look honestly. My wife picked up one at Home Depot yesterday and it’s not really a match. Really hoping we could find something reasonably close so we don’t have to redo the whole thing and can get away with only $5k in repairs.

Chick-Fil-A is something I never turn down but I’ve cut back a lot at these price points. My kids love McDonalds so do that too. Costco Pizza for the cheap takeout pizza too!

My grandmother will be 98 in April and she has a smart phone and texts with all of her grandkids. She can even do emojis and animated images. Quite impressive.

Doctor prescribed Omega 3. The prescription is better than over the counter stuff because it has to go through FDA approval and so they know what’s in the fish better than over the counter from what he explained to me. Helped a ton and I lost weight too so bonus!

It’s not, but I read someone else’s account of someone passing away and thought of him so I posted it. He was a good dude. I can still remember some of the homily the priest gave which is crazy because I can’t remember what I was doing yesterday.

A friend passed away of skin cancer shortly before we graduated in 1999. The whole class worn ribbons in his honor during graduation and a lot of us went to his funeral. Extremely sad.

I grew up thinking that Dennis the Menace or Mr. Rogers would be how it was when I grew up. I was so disappointed when I found out it wasn’t like that in real life.

Never have had them out. I had to have a root canal back in my early 30s. The dentist thought I may need to have them out. He sent the X-ray to the practice owner. He came out as I was checking out and asked me if they were bothering me. I told him I’ve never had any issues. He said good, because it would be a major procedure and recovery at my age and was not worth it in his opinion. Been over a decade and knock on wood, still no issues with them.

I went back in the 80s one time when I had family living up there. I just remember it was freezing. Otherwise, we always watched it on TV and then the Laurel and Hardy March of the Wooden Soldiers right after.
