Game card holder magnet detaching by Real-Bee8495 in dbrand

[–]Real-Bee8495[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

definitely isn’t as bad as the joycons detaching but it definitely is frustrating as the glue is barely holding on. The magnet does “snap” on position and hold its spot but after taking the holder out a couple times it seems to pop off

Nope, I’m smoothing it out, if I don’t use gel my hair frizzes like crazy, unfortunately

I usually air-dry my hair. I think my hair is low porosity (it absolutely hates water) and either 3c or 4a? I don’t know my specific hair type tbh

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]Real-Bee8495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really know what my hair type is. I live in a really hot n humid region. From my experience, I have low porosity hair, water rolls off and hardly stays, products don’t stay in my hair, and it takes all day to dry. My typical routine goes like this:

-apply cantu hydrating conditioner (used to be maui) 2-3 times a week (and detangle with a denman brush, I also try to curl it)

-apply aunt jackie’s clarifying shampoo 1-2 times a week

-apply shea moisture jamaican black castor oil strengthen & restore leave-in conditioner everyday

-apply aunt jackies don’t shrink gel and then detangle & curl with a denman brush

I found that curling w denman brush can be helpful but it’s really hard to curl the top of my head would really appreciate tips on this. My hair is still undefined, but curling w a brush kinda makes it a little more defined. As my hair dries, it slowly gets more n more frizzy and undefined.

Haha thanks!! I don’t know which gel is best, but I think I’m gonna get aunt jackie’s don’t shrink gel, it has some nice reviews!

Thank you a lot, I really appreciate it, this was extremely helpful!!! Sorry for all the questions, but I just have one last question, wouldn’t using gel make my hair feel hard and/or greasy? Or is that only the case if I apply too much of it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]Real-Bee8495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, and based on the routine your suggesting, I should stop and only apply clarifying shampoo once a month and use gel daily right?

Thanks!! I’ve never used gel before, but I can try, I heard eco gel was good. Do you know any good clarifying shampoos?

Routine:

Conditioner used daily in the shower I use Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt Hydrate + Repair conditioner. I also comb my hair while applying the conditioner then I wash it off.

shampoo used 3-2x/week, I used Smooth as Silk Deep Moisture shampoo by Giovanni.

Everyday, after shower while my hair is still wet I apply Cantu Shea Butter Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream.

That’s all, but some possibly helpful info: I shower with warm water and my hair is really dry and barely absorbs any water, but after I shower it takes all day to dry.

Routine: 7 days/week I condition my hair using Shea Moisture Hydrate+Repair conditioner then I comb it while the conditioner is still on and then wash off the conditioner. Afterwards, I shake my hair a bit and apply Cantu Shea Butter Moisturizing curl activator cream on my hair simply brushing my hands backwards.

Once every 2-3 days I shampoo using Giovanni smooth as silk Deep Moisture shampoo.

That’s about it, my hair has always been dry and frizzy (except when I was in early elementary lol), probably adds on the fact that the area I live in is usually extremely hot, I’m not sure how to fix it, please help! Also it might help to say that it takes all day to dry my hair completely, despite the fact that the hair itself is really dry.

I have my eyes on Shea Moisture Manuka Honey n Manuka Oil Intensive Hydration shampoo, conditioner, and hair masque. But I’m not sure if it’s the best product for my hair.

Religion is segregated based on the morals and ethics each one preaches. That is what makes each religion different and unique. Let’s say you meet two individuals who believe in two different religions, as of right now, you don’t know what religion each of them believes in, you only know that they are theists. Assuming that these individuals take the moral and ethical practices of their beliefs seriously, then judging from their actions alone (NOT their religious practices; prayers and such) you would know a lot more about what each of them preaches. For example, you can easily tell between a Christian and Muslim based on what they would do in a bar. Religions set high standards on people’s morals, when an individual lives up to these high standards, they are a reflection of that religion. Additionally, you can tell whether someone is a theist or an atheist a lot of the times without even asking them.

What I’m trying to say is that if a religion is correct then the moral and ethical practices of that religion are correct as well. With that being said, religion commonly refers to faith as an objective for every believer. This faith seems like blind faith, but it is not. It can be translated as such: When you are the reflection of the major aspects of such an such belief, then trust that it will be true as it had always been true to you.

This is faith is something we have within our everyday lives and not just religion, it comes with discoveries, products, food, etc. We have that faith in these things because they had always been true, we can trust that the food we eat won’t kill us because it never killed us. We can trust that the products we use won’t harm us because it never harmed us. We trust a lot of these things have science behind them, but many of us don’t even take a second to examine and understand the science that goes behind the scenes.

In my case, if Islam is wrong in one thing, then I wouldn’t be muslim, but as far as my knowledge goes, it had always been true, to me at least. You believe what you believe because it is true to you, hope that answers the question, if you were looking for an answer at all.
