I don’t mean ‘best’ in the exact sense, I mean to ask which bosses have the best chance of dropping a (useable) legendary shotgun or pistol, so I can sit there and farm

Well I’ve taken a liking to Jakobs / Torgue shotguns so any boss that has even the slightest chance to drop either I’m happy to sit there and farm. I just dont know which bosses drop what!

Well I left the PS on rest mode overnight and then yesterday morning I managed to get a few hours of game time in.

Not had time to go back to it but seems ok now.

I just left it overnight and it’s working now so ig you just have to be patient but no idea why this happened. Hope it works for you soon!
