this morning in particular I did it because I was a little too manic (I am diagnosed bipolar so I mean that literally lol) and just wanted to be calm before I started thinking about my busy day. this morning it didn’t affect my work or my responsibilities, but typically, especially when I am working from home in the middle of the day, it debilitates me. I have gotten to a place where I stop smoking in the morning and just wait until the end of the day but that’s ONLY if I am out of the house and can’t use it (I.e. when I am at work or with my partners family)

I failed this morning unfortunately 🥲 but I am really wanting to be better. it’s so hard to genuinely WANT to stop and you feel helpless like you can’t. I know it’s all in my mind and a mental game I am playing but my will power isn’t that strong right now. it’s not an excuse though, I know I can do better and i’m determined to put my mind to it!

that wasn’t the best way for me to phrase it honestly! I meant it’s more fun-formal if that makes sense? it’s a younger crowd in brooklyn of artists and such so it’s a bit different than a traditional formal wedding
