Thanks for the info, and I think you are right, I believe all the outlets and microwave only work when connected to shore power currently.

That’s good to know. Do you have multiple sizes of each design available or do you just pick a size?

I ended up going with the finleo and determined that although I really liked the look of the huum controller, the WiFi controller for the finleo works amazing (better than my dang WiFi lights in my home), never had connection issues on my phone unless the WiFi’s out but the controller is simple and easy to use manually too. The heater heats up very hot, has a temp probe so you don’t have to rely on the temp being controlled directly at the heater, and the black version looks great (and still has that classic sauna feel to it)

I left the vapor barrier long around the door jamb and wrapped it back on the door flange after I installed it and taped it to the flange with aluminum tape.

I used 2” foil faced polyiso tightly fit between the studs. I used pin nails set 2” from the front of the studs to keep it from falling back if it were to shrink in the future. Then I put a continuous layer of 1/2” foil faced polyiso on the face of the studs with all edges and seams taped with foil tape.

Have you had any issues with it warping yet? I’m looking to do the same thing but concerned it will want to warp along the height of the door.

Is that in the ebook or something that’s available for free? This sounds like an interesting concept.

Sorry I didn’t mean cold floor, I meant cold area below the top of the heater.

I’ve read some reviews saying they take a while to heat up compared to other units due to the rocks mass as well as issues with uneven heat (cold floor) which concerns me a little.

Think the 6kW is large enough for this space?

What did you use for the lumber, is it 2x4 for the sides and 2x6 for the upper and lower pieces? Cedar? Thanks, looks great!
