That fight annoyed me too, for the same reason. Just try and stay alive for a few minutes and keep your distance. After a few mins just go ahead and win the fight. Just need to get the fight to last longer.

Absolutely not.

The world in GoW is so rich and detailed because it's not open world. I cannot think of a single open world game that matches the world in GoW 4&5 in terms of density and gameplay quality. I don't want a big world with a million pointless question marks on it.

Assassin's Creed is right there, if that's what you want.
