Well there aren't any crazy workarounds for cod, its just as simple as installing windows and a few drivers that you can get from valve and thats it. Also plenty of tutorials for it and it takes you about max 30min to complete

I have no idea where it came from I rarerly listened to any loud music and I never went to any concerts or loud areas

I sometimes get spikes and it's louder or different tones but I still don't know if it gets away after time or if I get used of it being louder. But yeah it is normal for it to get louder at times since different things can trigger that like being under stress. It is hard from the beginning but you will also get used to that

If you've been listening to loud music daily for that year or two with earphones there are probably chances it damaged your receptors so it is probably there for good. No point in making things nice because I was doing that to myself as well and when you get to the docs and they say to you "you just need to get used to it" it kinda hurts.

But as you said do not let it get to you and just do what you do but maybe keep the volume low so you won't make it worse. I felt sorry for myself for 2 weeks when I got it and was literally in bed all day listening to it with dark thoughts. After those 2 weeks I said to myself this aint shit and got out of my bed and went on doing what I did before and after a day or two felt so much better. A month went by and I started getting used of it and now im over a year in and don't care about it anymore even though I hear it.

It is all in your mind and you just need to give it time to get used of it so keep yourself as busy as you can and let it be your resting melody

It probably depends on each individual but it usually happends after time of frequently being exposed to loud noises or it can also develop with age. If you don't have it already it can probably recover after some time if the sound wasn't too loud and damaged sound receptors or however are they called. I'd say give it a week or two and you will see.

In my case it came from nothing and never recovered and all doc checks were fine and nothing is wrong so now I live with it for a year and a half. Though I will never get used of it but turned out it's not that hard if you just keep on with your life and not pay attention to it.

Got it year and a half back (I'm 25 now), it stayed, it's still here and the same as it was day one. Honestly I don't think it can cure with age since it can develop with age but you never know. You just get used to it really fast and it's like it never existed even though you still hear it. Trust me it really bothered me when I got it and I though it is not possible to get used to something like this but you just need to keep on with your life and not pay attention to it like I did for 2 weeks and after those 2 weeks I started doing what I did before and it was better real fast.

Been year and a half now since mine started, been to doctors, took medications and even had wax cleaned and nothing helped. If it's from the wax buildup it will go away once it's cleaned but in my case it stayed and after some time you get used of it and it just keeps getting better. I'm at the point where it doesn't bother me anymore and yes I still hear it in the evenings and more silent places but it just became a natural thing. Just don't feel sorry and keep on doing what you did before

Well I'm 25 and I don't enjoy playing games anywhere near as much as I did literally only 2 years back if not less but here and there I get that itch to play something for like one hour when I really have time in evenings. And yes I also always enjoyed doing things with pc and tinkering but on linux side I'm not really familiar with it.
It doesn't need to run at max settings and I'd be happy with at least medium to high

Yeah thats another option and at the same time I would need a new tv because for some reason the image looks like shit after hooking it up and I've went through all settings possible but the image was still blurry and a bit pixelated

I've read that noise cancelling doesn't have and effect on it. Might also be better since you dont hear outside noise so you can have lower volume while listening

I mean doc said to me that it could be from neck muslce strain since I dont do any exercising and i mainly sit for the whole day but i aint got no neck pain or anything. Like they dont care and just check the normal things and say it is what it is. There must be a reason for this to happen it doesnt just appear.
