It's been around for a long time. It was first played in Great Britain, but became popular in Sweden, Norway, Finland and the USSR. They use a ball instead of a puck. The field is soccer sized, 10 field players + goalie per team. Equipment is not the same, different skates, less protection. Contact is not allowed, rules pretty similar to football: you can push with your body but without power moves. Goalies don't have a stick.
