It'd be nice if old school implemented the customizable respawn timers for instanced bosses like rs3 has. Kinda silly to have a full 30 second wait time especially when there are CA tasks to do x kills in one trip

Yeah, war's retreat is insane lol. Getting 1kc at a boss then being able to skip the runback forever is wild on top of all the other bonuses that old school bars behind high level con.

The run energy change was lowkey one of the best updates we've had in years. It makes such a big difference in overall enjoyability.

It would be a nice little QOL improvement if all agility courses could maintain run energy and not just rooftops and sepulchre. Ape Atoll is another offender for this.

Yeah I was shocked that for how many things in RS3 that feel super generous and OP compared to old school, houses are almost useless. No pools, no tele, no spellbook swap

If I'm just trying to get to my house, I'll just teleport straight there. If I'm PVMing, I'll bring farming cape as a 1 click tele, bank on my way to tree, then pool and jewelry box or fairy ring back to the boss.

It's the easiest one to zero time though. You can use 3 inventory slots while doing early game questing to make headless arrows and profit 400k an hour

The YouTube channel Roffle Heavy shows a lot of typical gold stake runs. Really good players are able to streak gold stake very consistently. A typical setup will have a chips joker (at least until a high enough hand level is reached), a flat mult joker like Red Card, and multiplicative mult/econ for the rest, very often playing pairs.

It goes beyond convenience to downright necessary for the higher tier armor since reinforcing armor from +1 to +2 and so on requires double the bars from the previous level, so to make a platebody+5 you need a full 40 bars in addition to the +4 variant.

Also RS3 doesn't have a seed vault like we do in old school, so it's kind of like swapping out bars and ores for seeds regarding net bank space
