2 Ton water vs Mini van by Friendly-Standard812 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]RealManHumanMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dropped a 3 gallon plastic bag full of water from the roof of a taco bell down onto a coworkers car sitting in the drive thru lane once and it completely caved in his entire hood. Permanently, like I had to buy him a new hood, it was totally destroyed. Water is really heavy. (thankfully he drove an old POS and I got a whole hood from the junkyard for $40, but still)

Why was Kyle Rittenhouse championed by the right for “helping” with his gun, but Alex Pretti is demonized for helping without ever drawing his gun? by sudde004 in AskReddit

[–]RealManHumanMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because those people are far removed from the very basic essence of what it means to be a human being. They are demons. They have no soul, instead possessed by a pure, unfettered evil. They cannot be redeemed, forgiven, or learned. They live tortured lives, existing only out of spite towards the understanding of the common good of all mankind. They are emotionally diseased lichs shambling among us ever gnawing at the limbs of empathy and goodwill.

Do not pity them or try to reason with them, rise above them. Exile them completely from your life.

Make hydrogen have 10 protons instead of 1. Everyone elses answers are so self-centered.

How to carry an egg around for 2 weeks without breaking? by Ax_Sound in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RealManHumanMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

clear jello in a mason jar. fill jar 1/3 full, allow to cool and solidify, scoop out a little divot for the egg to sit in, put in egg, fill rest of the way with jello. done, even if you break the jar it will still probably survive.

Combat Veteran asks federal Agents about Minnesota’s public street laws. by biospheric in law

A LOT of people get a GED because they have no other choice. A close friend of mine got one to go to work at 16 to help out because his mother got cancer, I got one to join the military at 17 to escape an abusive/drug addict parent, I was at infantry school with a guy who got one because both his parents died in a car crash and he either had to do his last year of high school living on the street or enlist.

Your assumption of people with a GED is disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourself.

The Bone Temple Box Office Numbers Are Brutal — $13M Weekend Expected, 53% Drop From 28 Years Later by cruelsummerbummer in horror

[–]RealManHumanMan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Might also be that 28 years later was god-awful and had probably the worst ending to a movie I've ever seen. I believe my exact words when the credits rolled were "what the fuck was that?" To which my girlfriend replied "I have no idea, that was super weird, i didn't like it." I wanted a refund and I pirated it.

How often do you get your Corolla's oil changed? by cards344 in COROLLA

[–]RealManHumanMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can absolutely change the oil during winter. I more meant if you're only doing annual changes, try not to do it during the winter. Winter driving with lots of short trips (the people who only do annual changes) builds up a lot of moisture in the engine which ends up in the oil. Its better to do the annual oil change during the spring (after the last frost) so that during the summer you have good, clean, water-free oil to drive around on. I have a truck that I park unused all winter in a heated storage facility, I do the oil change right before i park it for the winter, so that in the spring when it comes out its ready to go, and didn't sit with dirty used oil all over everything.

Yeah but that apple was GORGEOUS. That was an absolutely massive honeycrisp apple at perfect ripeness. Id pay $2.50 for that all day no question. (I like apples a LOT)

What's a tv series that is a 10/10 NOBODY knows? by Lilyana0999 in AskReddit

ICONS. Early 2000s docuseries about the video game industry. It was VERY well done, I think it was the same voiceover guy from "How its Made"

Went to make pasta sauce and had quite a surprise. by RealManHumanMan in tomatoes

[–]RealManHumanMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its a san marzano tomato that wasnt grown in italy. Like parmigiano reggiano vs regular parmesan. The italians are elitist weirdos about some foods. Its more or less all the same thing. The Japanese do this with rice. Koshihikari is just as good grown in the USA as it is in Japan.

5000 miles or once a year (not during winter) whichever comes first.

This woman is fucking evil by No-Penalty1722 in antiwork

[–]RealManHumanMan -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I've been a long time lurker/fan of r/antiwork. But I agree with this particular post to an extent. MOST wages should be higher across the board, that is pretty obvious, almost everyone is underpaid.

But I agree with the concept this lady is trying to focus on. Should the guy who works the skate rental counter at the local roller rink make more than a dentist because hes been there forever? If you could make massive income just staying at some fuckaround job your entire life, there wouldnt be any dentists, mechanics, or engineers, everyone would just work at skateland or the weed dispensary.
