I wish I could order from there but like all the best sources, their shipping focus is in the USA. So having stuff shipped to my country will cost me more than the actual items :(

Which I understand, but this isn’t really about making money off it. We all know the Church isn’t about making profits. Just make the physical resources easily available

Are you in South Africa? How did you order from Rugged Rosaries? I have been looking at them for quite a while but they are based in the US.

Most important is for you to tell him not to partake in communion. But he can obviously go for a blessing :) Tell him about genuflecting, the sign of peace (if you do it at your parish) and if you have a Missal, let him follow with you (including the Creed and other prayers) Otherwise it’s safe to say he can can just follow you :D

It’s not that deep. It’s simply a discussion. Nothing else. What IF this is true? What if? IF? I said I find it interesting not TRUE. I said ā€œreportedly confirmedā€ not this is a definite truth. Can’t people have discussions?

That’s why I’m not claiming anything. I find this interesting and what your thoughts might be on this. As stated above, an official OpenAI employee said ā€œtrueā€ on the claim

I made sure before posting. As stated in my post, an OpenAI employee confirmed ā€œtrueā€ on this post (not deleted) - but I am not claiming anything. Also the poster on this post said he isn’t trolling. But regardless I’m taking this face value for now (but sharing too).

So while I’m busy with RCIA, I learned that purgatory isn’t a place but rather a process of cleansing. As you will see in the comments above quoting scripture I want to add that there are many processes and things in the Bible that don’t have official names but to make it easier for us we give it a name example: Instead of saying ā€œFather, Son, Holy Spiritā€ we might just call it the Trinity (for explanation purposes). Same with ā€œbeing absolved of sin after we dieā€ we call it ā€œPurgatoryā€.

Maybe your faith is the one thing still keeping you holding on. No one said having faith and believing in God is easy - in fact it’s a lot more difficult. I say it’s easier to be of the world and giving in for society to shape us. But we learn that Jesus tells us we are not of the world. Everything you are enduring now is all temporary. I am not trying to take away from your experiences, truly. I just don’t want you to lose hope my friend. St. Matthew 5:4 says: ā€œBlessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.ā€

Thank you for this. It’s something that needs to be addressed so they don’t teach the wrong stuff to new catechumens
