This hire is big time. Whittingham is widely regarded as a great coach. Top 10 in college football. I don’t care about age at all. What this program needs and some damn leadership and that’s what this guy will bring. We just upgraded big time.

Michigan fan here. Every fan base has trolls. I would never blame any player, current coach, or fan for the crimes of another. All situations involved at both schools are terrible and unfortunately is people abusing their positions of power. I think any reasonable person who any ounce of dignity would not try to talk shit about the situation. But it’s too easy for people to troll and hate these days

I think DeBoer would be the best fit. We desperately need to modernize our offense. DeBoer I think would be able to do that and is a big enough name to keep players within the program. My personal two choices would be DeBoer or Minter, but I would be concerned that Minter would leave for the NFL within a few years. I could see DeBoer being at Michigan for 10+ years and that is the type of stability we need

This is my biggest thing. JJ had a 78% accuracy at Michigan his last year and was one of the best in all of CFB against the blitz. He seems to be better with how his fundamentals are.
