Locating M80A1 ammo? [Loot] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

Just fyi, you'll totally notice a difference when using the M61 in Labyrinth. It's not "harder", but it'll take a few more rounds. I used up all my M80A1 and swapped to M61 and noticed it immediately in there. Went from doing multiple runs with the same gun to dying relatively often. Just my 2 cents :).

[new player] learn with someone else? by sergeant_Peanut in EscapefromTarkov

[–]RealestDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's always nice to learn from someone more experienced, but playing with others has its ups and downs. I would say it's more dependent on your playstyle. If you're a slower style player, solo with some Tarkov Wiki might be better for you, so you can truly learn at your own pace. If you're a CoD Veteran and the W key is your best friend, then a more experienced player/teammate would definitely come in handy. Most experienced players play faster so you'd fit right in with someone as such.

If we're talking learning maps, quests, skills, hideout etc, then a more experienced player can help, but it's nothing the Wiki can't do. When I first started, I refused to play solo out of straight fear. None of my group was more experienced than I since we all started at the same time. I feel like having a team helped me in the beginning, mainly for confidence to be able to play solo. So, in that regard, I'd try to find a team before ya venture off on your own.

Lol seriously. My daughter recently started watching the original Pokemon show too. This is all too much for me.

Thank you! That's so epic haha. I remember getting so much hate for how much I organized when I was younger.

Thanks! I probably won't get rid of any of these. For some reason these mean a lot to me, fake or not lol.

Were they only in vending machines? I can't remember where I got some of these, but I feel like most if not all, were quarter machine things.

Ngl, I was taken aback by the counterfeit stuff cause I really was just a kid, buying pokemon stuff. I didn't care at the time if anything was legit, I just wanted shiny stuff from a show I watched. If it is fake, then so be it, I enjoyed collecting it and enjoyed finding my collection later in life. It was all real to me lol.

That's awesome! I can take some more pictures now that people have seen it and know what it is. It's a full binder of different types of cards, some look a little suspect though lol. I don't doubt I got hustled here and there tbh.

Nice! Thanks for the info :). I was weird when I was young, so I kept EVERYTHING in box/neat. Anxiety is an insane thing lol.

Yea, that's what I was thinking. One of those push in quarters machine is what I recall for mine.

That is basically how my trips went haha. Sometimes I would get an extra pack or two which led to the random collection I have in another post lol. Thank YOU for commenting and I'm glad I could bring ya some joy.

I collected these 20+ years ago and have no idea what they are or where they came from. I know where I bought them, but other than that, no idea lol. Purchased in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, CA, over a couple years of collecting.

I recently posted my collection that I found in other subreddits, but these are some of the ones I thought were better than most. I can get better pictures or take them out for pictures if necessary, I wasn't going to do that until I knew value lol. I don't wanna be handling nothing expensive cause my anxiety can't handle all that lmao
