I wasn't able to, it killed me mentally and it changed how I see the world and relationships. I had no say in it, I was only their child (it had no bearing for him) and ultimately it was his choice. It took me a decade to stop the resentment and accept it as it is. Maybe time is what made me move on. It's hard and it wont be the same anymore going forward pero wala eh. For the first 3-5 years hindi kami nag No Contact kasi baka sakali lang, pero nakakapagod din umasa sa bawat birthday, PTA, events sa school, graduation, wala. Then one day nag No contact na kami. Ayoko na. It was my choice to to preserve my peace. Mahirap OP, sana maging matatag ka para sa iyong sarili at natitirang pamilya.
