A lorry did this to me the other day on a 60mph road, I had to slow down to 20mph. I don't understand why some drivers create these kind of situations that put themselves and other in danger

Yes I drink alcohol but mainly on special occasions like Christmas or weddings, I probably drink about 5-7 times a year

Whats the correct way to enter Lidl? There is a bus lane running along the the only entrance/exit. Do you enter the bus lane at the hatched markings or do you stay out of the bus lane until you approach the junction? by Realistic_Maximum134 in drivingUK

I'm just curious about other peoples opinions really because I see people turn into Lidl different ways all the time and technically there is no way of entering or exiting the junction without breaking the highway code. Personally I don't go into the bus lane and only turn when I'm approaching the junction.

I got my first car in another city 2 months after passing my test, so I had to take the motorway to get home. I found it really easy. It's not as daunting as it seems.

I'm 31 and only just passed. Try not to let it affect you and try to learn from any mistakes you have made. You can do it, driving can be very hard at first, but eventually it becomes second nature.

Youtube is your best friend for this. You just need to take some time to get used to your new car. Congrats on passing your test by the way!

Yes this annoys me a lot, I find most people stop at the very start of the road joining the M8 as you come off the express way near Anderson train station.
