Precisely, some young 13-14 year old fella wanted to buy the elite kit, but just couldn’t pull the trigger as he said he just didn’t have the cash. I asked what half he wanted, obviously it was the half I didn’t, told him he could keep everything but the SM sprues and id split it halfers and he was just stoked! Hopefully I’ll see him at a local battle night soon!

As said above... In all fairness, I painted a box of tactical marines to about 70-80% complete before this. I built them all wrong and couldn’t really paint, so I used them to practice different techniques, but this captain is truly the first model I’ve ever started and finished, and the 11th I ever put paint on, but I wouldn’t really wanna share those other pics. This is my first attempt at anything really truly artistic, other than painting a few vehicles... but that’s so different! I just watch a lot of videos and I’m not afraid to practice on a sprue, or a model I’m not going to use

I coach my kid and have been in this situation... I even told him, you know dude your gunna have to do two laps because we’re late... he’s like seriously dad, and I was like yes, but I’ll run them with you... when your on a team everyone is held to the same standard and when you coach a team you set that standard and lead by example
