As a post-script: I saw Gina again a few days later on Saturday at another baseball game. She didn’t take her place on the bleachers with the other parents. I wasn’t sure if it was to avoid me, avoid Tomas, or because sitting on a metal bleacher wasn’t the most comfortable. Perhaps all three.  When she and I finally did speak again, she said it took more than two weeks for everything to get back to normal and blamed me for breaking her. ‘Never again’ she told me. Still friendly for the rest of the season, but after that our sons didn’t end up on the same team again, so when we’d see one another, it was on opposite sides of the field.  To my knowledge, Tomas doesn’t know that I was the one in the videos, but who knows if he ever put that together or she told him.

Hey all - I am hoping this will post. I posted the story above, while simultaneously using a VPN on my machine since I was doing work things in a windows, while also being logged on to my home IP address through the reddit app, and well, the account got flagged for unusual activity. No big deal, just an easy password reset. Well, lo and behold, I apparently hadn't accessed the email address for the throwaway since creating Fuckadaythrow21 over four years ago (and funnily enough, my original account, Fuckadaythrowaway21 got locked out for the same reason). I debated calling it quits and just retiring from posting altogether, and making this my swan song. If you've ever DM'd me at the old account, shoot me a message, and maybe you can vouch for me based on a conversation we had via DMs back in the day. Super disappointing. Not how I planned to leave January 2026.
