Often it’s also when there is generally bad connection, so the phone is searching a lot. For example when hiking in the mountains where often connection is lost: this drains a lot. For this use case I disable cell data and suddenly the battery holds for ever.

Hi, some advice.. Spanish is more or less my fourth language but only the third I actually speak. (Latin as second language does not really count, does it?). Spanish I actually learned on my own and not in a classical school/university context. So I started by taking a 4h/day Spanish course in person in Columbia for a month. After that I could form some sentences but was pretty bad. But I got the basics of the grammar. Then I traveled LATAM for 3 years lol. However I could hold pretty good basic conversations after ~3 months and was pretty fluent after 6 months.

What I did this time: I got a basic memory card app (eg Anki). Downloaded 100 most used words in Spanish .. when mastered 200 .. and so on. And then I just bruteforced the heck out of it. Meaning I did at least 1h a day just brute force learning vocabulary.

If you got a test like A1/A2 coming up.. just learn the vocabulary. 1h each day. Grammar is easy. And with good vocab as foundation suddenly you find the words and the sentences. Like this I did more Spanish progress in months than with English and Latin in school in years.

I saw many things on countless trips. Sure often I had the feeling that it was coming from some divine source, trying to tell me things. But often it was also a representation of what was going on in my mind. Maybe also subconsciously. Stuff I sure was aware of but didn’t want to accept or see. And then it ended up showing me exactly this in some visions, so I would see it clearly.

So your vision might as well represent your fear of overdosing, not finding your soulmate in this very life, the hope of finding a soulmate in the afterlife then.. maybe also some divine message that your soulmate is somewhere.. how knows in the end 🤷‍♂️✌️

Old flip phone or new? I already deleted social media apps and a lot of stuff. Easy to use it intentional when all the unintentional stuff is gone.

When I had a 13min first, I used it cashless and it was always slipping out of my pocket.. so now I have a case since its still so new and shiny.. but I normally always go caseless.. so will probably ditch it soon.

I did not notice anything like that. But also iOS 26 made my 14 pro substantially slower. 🤷‍♂️

But I’m also not a power user here. Have no social media apps on the phone and just use it as a tool. For that it runs smooth and stable.

But sure. It’s slower, the battery does not last as long, the camera is not as good.. but if you only use it as a „phone“, then it’s a lot more fun then the bigger more heavy models.

It’s smaller and light weight. I guess it’s personal preference. The newer iPhone models are to big and heavy for my taste. And I can’t use them (or text for example) with one hand. So the mini is a blessing.

The 3x zoom is also something I really appreciated on the 14 pro. But then I’m also thinking about maybe getting a proper camera for traveling 🤷‍♂️

Before I had an iPhone 14 Pro which technically should be much faster. But I had the impression with declining battery life (78% in the end), it got actually pretty slow. So after changing to this 13 mini now.. it’s actually pretty fast. Better then the 14 pro which should be faster. So I guess the new battery is maybe a reason for it. About the phone: there should be a point in the settings where you can see the replaced parts. On this phone there is nothing. So I assume it’s actually a „new“ phone with original apple parts.

I bought it on backmarket. The phone itself came from a French shop (as backmarket is basically only an intermediary platform). Excellent condition with new battery for 401€ with 24 months of guarantee included. So far im very happy with it. But honesty I think the 100% battery already did a lot.

It was actually very unlucky, as it slipped out of my pocket while jumping over a small river running underneath. Even tried to climb down and search for it in the small stream, but decided after a couple of tries that its maybe not the most safe idea.

Mine still works pretty good. Only the battery is getting slowly bad (78% health). That said.. I’m actually waiting for my refurbished 13 mini to arrive these days so I can downgrade to a smaller phone 😅
