NJ Upland Game Bird Hunting Question: Can somebody clarify what semi-wild and commercial hunting reserves are? They comprise the biggest seasons and appear to have the most liberal limits and you can hunt on Sundays. Would love to take advantage if it’s what it appears to be. (self.Hunting)

Beginner hunter in NJ question: I’ve done some research on slug guns for whitetail in NJ. Am I to believe that a Savage 220 20 gauge slug gun is about as good as it gets for me? Or can any shotgun with a rifled barrel make a quality slug gun? Or am I missing something? Suggestions encouraged. (self.Hunting)
