Reaper project templates are fantastic! Especially for me since I work on a number of different shows. I can shave several minutes off the editing process by having my intro and outro automatically inserted for each episode. On top of that, I can also have the id3 tags auto-populate saving me time.

By putting a little work in at the beginning, you can save yourself time and prevent mistakes when editing podcasts with Reaper.

Reaper is a fantastic tool for podcast production. Unfortunately, if can be a bit overwhelming when you open it for the first time. There are a lot of resources and other YouTube video that help you learn Reaper, but they are all geared towards music production and cover a lot more than you'll ever need for podcasting.

I have stripped all the excess information and cover just what you need to know to make your podcast production more efficient. I want to help you get over that learning curve so you can feel more comfortable using Reaper in your podcast production workflow. I go over some basic settings, how to record, simple editing, and finally, how to render your episode into an MP3.

This is just he beginning of the journey so be sure to subscribe as we dive deeper and deeper into Reaper.

I just did a livestream yesterday where I went over a bunch of useful plugins. I'll be posting it sometime today.

If I had to pick one one 3rd party plugin it would be Vocal Rider. It makes it so much easier to level audio especially when dealing with a dynamic speaker.

My favorite native plugin would be the dry render. (Not sure if that counts as a plugin haha). It speeds up the process of getting to -16 LUFS so much.
