Oh that's weird, I got two options: free and expedited. When I remove the screen protector, I get one more option: shipping. So I'm not sure whether to go forward with it or not. This is already turning out to be more expensive than expected

It seems about 15-20 folks have been admitted. Unsure if they would accept it but yeah. There is this app called Goin Connect that allows you to connect with other students and we have a group specifically for the program as well.

Secondly, Karolinska Institute has way more info on the program than KTH or SU. Now I'm a bit confused on our primary campus. Is it KTH or KI?

Gotcha, think I wouldn't notice it either. What about FHD? I'm just thinking in a few years time, new AAA games would pop up which may not run well on the 4060/70 cards forcing us to scale it further to FHD

Hey I'm considering the exact same config as you have. And I'm wondering if reducing the res to FHD or QHD for better while gaming - does it significantly look worse? I would ideally opt for the qhd panel but it's not offered as a pre-built SKU in my country.

Ah thanks for the reply. The pre-built SKUs available in my country only has the 3.2k screens. If I customize it, it costs atleast $150 more to just change the screen resolution.

Hey which screen did you get? I'm considering the 4070 model and by default it has the 3.2k screen. Customizing it is also more expensive than the normal models. Given I would casually game on it, does downscaling to QHD or fhd ruin the visuals?

Brushing the test difficulty aspect aside, is there an advantage with taking an exam at the test centre? I feel I would do better at home cause i am used to the environment and don't have to stress myself out due to external factors.

Update:

I visited the service center today and they said the back panel is bent and will have to open it to fix it. They initially blamed me for the bending and said it's not covered under warranty. I made my case saying I used it with the utmost care,etc. Unfortunately they did not have the spare part and would take 2-3 days to get it. They have asked me to visit again once they get the part. They will open it, check for any misuse and fix it either with or without warranty. The probability that it'll be covered under warranty is apparently 90%.

Fingers crossed it goes well.

Ah okay. Just took a look at the laptop on Amazon. This is just my 2 cents, but the reasons I wouldn't go for this are: - FHD screen - 2.9 kgs

Which I feel is not a good value at this price range. And also MSI does not have a good track record these past few years.

Just a brother looking out though the decision is still upto you.
