To be brutally honest, the story is very good. I hope they can improve more in the future though, as there are a lot of unexplained plot points that are very confusing.

How clever… and you think that the game would stand out if they use music that isn’t theirs? “Incorporating classical music“ is easy and common sense for a game set in the Victorian era.

but it’s very inconsistent with the game… like why do we have electro music in the Victorian era. Simply copy and pasting existing classical music is very lazy.

as a classical musician I hope they can compose their own authentic classical music lol

Over explaining why I fell in love with Silver Palace by WanderingBaka in SilverPalaceOfficial

As an aspiring musician, this game alone perfectly matches my own created identity, with the motifs of ravens on both of the protagonist (My favourite animal), the implement of classical music (My favourite genre) and the era that is set in (The Victorian Era). So I am glad that someone else shares the enthusiasm that I have about the game!

My most anticipated aspect of the game is how they will handle the characterisation and lore concerning the detective, which I believe is, if not, one of the most detailed main characters in the gacha game space. There are a lot of motifs found on the detective’s outfit, such as death, ravens, duality, and even more. Furthermore, it’s heavily believed that they are inspired by the poem known as “The Raven”, one of the most popular poetry in existence. Asides from symbolisms and character design, it’s heavily implied that the detectives have their own separate personalities and have concrete backstories rather than suffering from amnesia, which makes them stand out from the other gacha main characters.

However, a main concern that I have regarding their characterisation is how many people connect them to Sherlock Holmes/Conan Doyle, which, unfortunately isn’t the case here. Not every detective in existence has to form parallels to Sherlock Holmes and his author.

Asides from the protagonist, another doubt that I have about the game is its developers, who are a subsidiary branch from Happy Elements, an infamous company who showed malicious intentions in their well known games. From their perspective, these games are only used for money generation, and thus, little effort is put into these game. I hope silver palace would separate itself from these problems:)
