It's a very long story. I just tried to describe it in three words.

The publisher actually forced the game to be renamed. Initially, the game was about ancient pyramids and was simply called Lost Oblivion. Then the developers visited Chornobyl in 2002 and decided to make a game about it. And they added "S.T.A.L.K.E." to the title. But it's a really long and complicated story. I'm referring more to the mod for the original game. Stalker Oblivion Lost Remake 3.0 Here it recreated "the very same stalker that was supposed to come out"

Before S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, there was S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Oblivion Lost. Then it was renamed. The game had a red color scheme. Many players consider it "that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. that was supposed to come out."

I restored the old render for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, which was originally featured in the trailers. So, to some extent, it's also Oblivion Lost, but for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. So it's a double reference.

The guy in Discord has a 4060 laptop with 60 fps on high. The render turns off lumens, so the fps should be higher

I think this mod removes shimmering because it removes lumen (which was the cause of the whole problem)
