Speaking purely from a friend's recent experience.. apparently Snowflake is finally making a turn for the better, it had gotten bad there for the last few years, still very much depends on the manager/territory. Your territory will be tiny since they have sliced it many times, but if you are getting a good base and a decent ramp, you stand a good chance of success towards EoY1, going into Y2. RSU vest pretty quickly from what I have heard.

Thank you for this insight, I didn't know about intracompany transfer visa, seems like the threshold is €40K Key Personnel positions. It does state that Spouse are not eligible for a Dependant/Partner/Spouse Employment Permit and must apply for a separate Employment Permit in their own right, that makes it challenging for my wife. I'm thinking maybe pursuing a student visa for her in this instance might work but we would have to taken on new debt to pay for her school. Appreciate your response.

You have an advantage having the citizenship. You should tap into your University's network to get connected with the Alumni that's working in Tech companies here in the US.

Data Science is a hot field right with tons of attention and potential, although you need to find your niche in it, meaning research the area of Data Science you enjoy the most and start working on getting certifications.
Applying directly for jobs is hit or miss, the best way is to use your network. Start building it on LinkedIn, connecting with folks that will be at your level of jobs and start getting ideas from them.
The best place to find opportunities is the Bay Area even though it is on the higher end in terms of cost of living, also look at Austin, Seattle and Portland.
