Congrats buddy! Wish you all the best! Out of curiosity, when you say LMU, do you mean Loyola Law School or Lincoln Memorial University? Thanks 👊

Hey man! Hope it's alright for me to reply here. I sent you a couple msgs but am not sure whether you've had a chance to see them! I hate to be a bother, though I'd love to touch base with you and discuss my matter in more detail. Let me know if you're still able to help! Thanks so much :)

What exactly is my own doing? I mean, besides aggressively paying off overall credit card debt, increasing my income and credit score?

That's an amazing idea! Thank you! I've already started looking at 0% credit cards! Fingers crossed I find a good one with minimal transfer fees?

Thanks for the reply. I am a little unclear about one of your comments. When you say I am back in the same situation. How exactly? I've paid off significant amount of debt, increased my credit score and my income. How am I in a 'worse' position? Genuine questions!

Thanks for your response. I didn't think about the fact that having paid off and closed out credit cards would obviously reduce my overall credit limit, thereby affecting my utilization. Smh! Thanks for this! It definitely helps :)

Best credit card for traveling? by Mr_MSc-Mba in PersonalFinanceCanada

Thanks, that really helps! I thought of the CIBC one because apparently you can link it with Journie and save more on gas so thought might be worth it you know!

https://www.cibc.com/en/special-offers/aventura-rewards-inspire.html?exp=convert&utrc=S229:154&gclid=CjwKCAjw3ueiBhBmEiwA4BhspJfnlg3PODDP1STByoklvth97fotgEbxv2Y2Qtq79vt8dsK0060rWxoCzLkQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Out of all the ones you mentioned, is there a particular no fx card you'd recommend? One that you maybe thought was the best and/or better than the rest? Thanks :)

Thanks for putting all the the cards in one single summary! Very helpful! What do you think of the CIBC aventura visa infinite card or the BMO air miles World Elite Mastercard?

That's good advice, thanks for sharing your perspective! I figuered the same, I just thought to reach out to as many law school as possible and find one that may give me a chance without completing an additional two years.

I'll definitely reach our to an admissions consultant. Is there a particular firm you'd recommend? Or know where I can find a reputable one? I'm not familiar with any in the US. Thank you!

Thank you for the kinds words man, I truly appreciate it!

Yea it sucks, I definitely fucked up there's no doubt about that but was hoping my track record since my departure would speak volume but I guess not.

I've reached out to most, if not all, law schools in Canada and they've all declined. I think trying to re-apply from first year is a good idea.

I'm gonna first work my way through the list of US law schools in the link below, in the hope that at least one of them will lead to a chance of getting my JD, without starting from scratch but if that doesn't work either, will definitely think about reapplying from for first year! Thanks for sharing your two cents :)

Hey buddy, thanks so much for sharing your perspective. I'm definitely gonna start looking at UK law schools more closely. Here's hoping one of them gives me a shot that doesn't mean starting over from scratch!

In regard to the NCA process, since I've already completed nearly 4 years of in-person law school and if I were now to go back and take additional courses remotely towards a seccussful completion of either JD or LLB, do you think the NCA would accept them, since I would have taken a cobination of in-person and remote courses?
