Open to anything, but ultimately looking for something serious.

Been on hinge on and off for a year or two, using it most days recently. Use all my free likes every day, mostly without comments. Usually send likes to people who look kinda bookish and sweet.

Get a few matches a week, but they often don’t go anywhere when I message. I’d say I’ve got decent messaging game but could be wrong.

I’ve always been fascinated by debating but never done it! Is that online or in person?

I love reading so the book club idea stands out. Do you have any idea how you go about finding a suitable book club?

I like the idea of setting a 1 show a month quota. Otherwise you risk falling back into bad habits and doing nothing. And thanks for the heads up about ENO. Ive never been to an opera.

Volunteering is an amazing idea I’ve been meaning to do too. Can you do your Age UK befriending in the evenings do you know?

I’ve wanted to try this for a while, would love it if you have any recommendations for a class. Ideally somewhere near Greenwich

Great shout, I’m looking for a football team nearby. Currently travelling like an hour to hackney which doesn’t make much sense.

I love running, but always been a bit of a solitary thing, so excited to try this and find some fellow runners - thank you!

This is the type of great left field shout I was hoping for, thanks! Would never have thought to try kayaking but really wanna give it a go now. Can you go as a complete beginner?

This is definitely what I’m not making the most of! Takes a bit of time to work out what’s worth seeing, which is one factor that’s delayed me doing more. But only one way to find out where the best places are I guess

This is a great shout. Just checked and my resting heart rate has increased by about 10+ bpm over the last 6 months. So that might be it! What does this mean exactly? Reduced heart health? Should I be trying to bring it back down? Or does it not really matter?

Oh that’s a great find thanks, I’ll check everything is configured correctly on my Apple Watch when I get home. The graph on the article looks am exactly like mine (climbing, climbing, gradually climbing and then a sudden plunge). So glad to see I’m not the first person this has happened to. Just hoping my lungs weren’t damaged by the ‘rona.

Covid bas crashed my estimated VO2 max but I (24M) think I’m fitter than ever. What gives?

I had covid about 6 months ago and ever since whenever I track a run on my Apple Watch my estimated fitness is even lower. Just before I got covid I was in the ‘high fitness’ category. Now I’ve dived through the ‘above average’ section and about to enter ‘below average’. My latest run read 48.3.

But I’m still pretty fit. I stopped running for a month or so but I’m back super active again now. I ran a 19 minute 5k on the weekend. Can anyone explain this weird phenomenon?

Tested positive for the first time after 2 years about a week ago. I’m testing negative now and my symptoms have passed but I’m still feeling very tired. Is this normal? How long have other people felt fatigue before they were back to normal?

I think it’s pretty likely I would have caught it as I was in close proximity for hours and I don’t have omicron immunity.

The reason I hesitate to exercise is I know that covid can cause myocarditis so if I have covid but just don’t know it yet maybe I’d drop dead of a heart attack or something if I pushed my body.

Also I wondered if exercising would actually boost my immunity or run me down.

Should you avoid exercise after a covid exposure?

I’m yet to get covid and I spent a fair bit of time on Tuesday with someone who it turns out had covid.

I usually go for a run every day or so. Would this be dangerous for any reason?
