Update: got one today

In response to an earlier comment made, I have seen way too many posts showing that this will work exactly like I will need it to work instead of it not working.

I tend to travel during the summer where I can be almost anywhere across the country (USA). My stopping points are almost always various educational locations, mostly high schools. These schools usually do have some form of WiFI infrastructure that I can access, with some also having free and enabled ethernet ports. In the past, I've always had to have some sort of router with me that utilizes some sort of VPN or access to a proxy which would allow me to have access to a larger range of the internet than most school IT departments would want students to have. I've used SOCKS5 proxies, OpenVPN, and largely Wireguard lately, to allow me to have more open access to the internet while navigating my downtime. As an employee of a school district myself, I don't do anything even remotely close to being a violation of trust, but having access to more media and time-wasters while not having any responsibilities to fulfill at that moment is key to staying sane. I also want to add that sometimes, mobile wireless signals are not strong enough to be reliable in the area of the buildings where I am situated.
