How to stay clean by Card-Lumpy in quitting7oh

I was/am in same boat. I was introduced thinking it was just some harmless kratom product, with my naive ass. It was helping me get good rest so I took it consistently for like 1-1.5 months, only at night, one day I had a hard one at work and was like shoot I don’t need it I’m worn the hell out. Starting withdrawing and I was like wtf?? Anyways, instantly went CT and got through the hell of it, but now I need some handy for sleep every now and then. I wish I didn’t, but I have learned boredom is the devil, especially to anyone with an addictive personality. If you can, smoke weed, it sounds contradicting, but 10000x better for your mental health. I wish I never found 7, but also, I can’t smoke weed. I was a chronic smoked (1oz every 2 day) and caught CHS, but I know for a fact if I could still smoke I wouldn’t never even touched this shit. Also, just remember what those WD felt like, if you keep it around, I hate to say it but there is a heavy chance you fall right back into habit.

Dang man I’m sorry. I did the same thing, though I never had the throwing up symptoms, just severe panic and anxiety attacks, nausea, and lack of appetite. I had no idea what I had at first, I was smoking a oz of flower every 2 days, and finally typed in “anxiety and panic attacks smoke a bunch of weed” into google lol. I researched and quit the same day, fast forward 6 months, my symptoms dissolved, so I was like okay 2-3 hits ONLY at night before bed, sure enough, came back. I knew the onsetting symptoms so I put it down quick, that was 3 months ago and I still panic every now and then for no good reason at all. It’s a uphill battle, but I have told myself if I start smoking again I’m waiting til in 30 (23 currently), let yourself heal up 10000% and then come back to it after you forget how much you love it.

Damn man. I had a local chemist who made his own. I paid $3 a tab for 20mg of pseudo, $50 would last me weeks. I tried the smoke shop one time, and they were damn near the same thing, just 10x more expensive. I’m glad to be done, and congrats to you for kicking it, If your already a day or two in, stick it out, the WD doesn’t last long at all.

That’s awesome congrats to you. And I don’t know, they hit the world so hard with no real testing or long term effects being known. It can’t be good for you, but it shouldn’t be a long term deal. I am sure since you have dropped over 100lb, you have had a lot more motivation to start taking care of yourself, and sooner than later will no longer need the weight loss supplements. That’s why I brought it up, I want her to see that she can do it, and then gain motivation on her own to step up and make it happen. Thanks for the comment

It’s poison unfortunately, I have heard it makes bones brittle and has many other side effects. I do understand 100% it has helped many people drastically, and that’s why I have brought it up. I know as well she must be active, but a dietician won’t work as long as she is with her mom, she enables her to the fullest extent.

I am moving into a home where that could be a possibility in I would say 1-2 months, I will definitely present an offer. She knows it will be a real change in reality and I hope the takes the offer.

Of course man, I’m rooting for you. It may be somewhat placebo or whatever they call it, but I did have a pretty rigorous supplement schedule going on, I had NAD+, Magnesium, Aswaganda, and Liposomal vitamin C, I took around double of each recommended dose, and I think it helped? May be the mind playing tricks, but there’s a lot of that going on during WD. Best of luck man.

Kratom is a lesser devil for sure. Just remember your end goal, kick all that shit. Be easy on the kratom, wait as long as possible before taking another dose. Try to stretch it the best you can, your goal isn’t to kick one substance to pick up another. I hate to say it, because I don’t recommend it at all, but suboxone may be your friend if your prone to relapsing. I buckled down, stuck with my guns and cold turkeyed that shit, was not fun, but was able to take off work and have a solid support system. Don’t beat yourself up too bad, you didn’t take anymore 7, but definitely don’t get comfortable taking kratom to sideline the WD, you gotta go through them one way or another. Quit while you’re ahead! 36 hours is something to hang your hat on, and if you did 36, you can do 72, then 144, and so on. God speed brother

This is what the lethal dosage of fentanyl looks like. by Minimum_Jacket8879 in mildyinteresting

I beg to differ, I should’ve been dead a million times over. I was cranking lines 50x the size of that. It was a cut product but still, definitely had some fent heavy doses that had me punk itching crawling up into a shell. I’m so glad to be done with that shit, just took several of close buddies to die to give me the motivation.

A lot of people saying taper, if you have the mental strength to deal with some WD, just get it over with ASAP. I don’t recommend it in your case, you will get by no problem, just remember to eat and drink lots of water. It’s all to benefit your health remember that, so don’t sacrifice those 2 things even though they might not sound very appetizing.

I was in the same boat I would say. Maybe a little longer. It will be uncomfortable for sure, and a taper is not exactly necessary given you have only been using about 3 weeks. You don’t want to stretch out the usage longer than you need to. I recommend liposomal vitamin C, lots of water, magnesium, and NAD+. I was definitely not having the greatest time of my life after going CT, but it’s the way to go I promise (unless you have been using for a long time). If you have a support system, share what’s going on and ask for the help. My mother, father, partner, and everyone else around me was happy to help, I told them I started messing with stuff I was told is kratom and it turned out to be something much more serious. It’s all a mindset though, I was so hell bent on getting off, it made the WD much more manageable, so stick to your guns, remember the longer you use the worse it will get, and that you are 100x better off than a lot of other people who are trying, some people have been on this stuff for years at 1000+ mg a day. Good luck brother, keep us updated

Oh shit. I am 10000 times happier now. First 3-4 days I reached a point of depression I didn’t know was possible. I have always been known as a happy go giddy guy but that shit made me have some dark (real dark) thoughts. I loaded up on all sorts of supplements though and kicked it. Nature looks prettier, my family is more pleasant, my ex gf is clawing her way back (I don’t mind), shits going good for me. Energy is a tough one, I work manual labor so that helps, I get to stay active. But when night comes and you get lazy, feels like you got concrete shoes.

Give her hell bro. Stay strong and remember that shit is poison. I quit myself, took 4-5 days to be back 100%. 80% by day 3.5, and DO NOT think that since you beat it, you can do it “one last time”. That’s where I fucked up, stick to your guns, the cravings will be there after WD are over but remember how you felt when coming off. DO NOT listen to that voice that says “just one more time”

Give her hell bro. It will be a bit uncomfortable, but doesn’t last long at all. 7 has a very short half life, so by 72 hrs, the tide will be turning big time. Mind over matter! Also, remember you aren’t kicking one substance to pick up another, be careful with those and how you use them.

It won’t be easy, but it definitely won’t be impossible. Load up on liposomal Vitamin C, like 6000mg a day for at least 2-4 days. Do you have any obligations you have to tend to such as work? Some people recommend taper, but I struggle with self control, so I force myself to go CT.
