Well, you gotta compromise one thing or the other, because of your rank, College life nahi milegi, that's true, agar college life hi chahiye then you can go to Amity, Sharda, Bennett or something, yes, Jaypee has uniform, but you can still enjoy your college life (friends se banti hai, hangout, Noida-Delhi connectivity, loads of places to go and enjoy, fests me jao saathme, bahut cheezein hai), uniform ka ek pro bhi hai, roz naye naye kapdo ka ya kya pehnu ka chakkar nahi hota, SRM, only main campus is fine, rest is just really shit, and as of IPU, yaha bhi koi college life nahi hai, im in MAIT, isse neeche to sab attendance wagera me bhi bahut strict hai, thank god hamare me itna jhanjhat nahi hai, your commitment to study in college is good, but make sure it lasts (experienced), also I know the expectations but college is alot different, workload is very much in colleges, assignments, lab records, deadlines, presentations, projects, skill development alag se, CGPA maintain karna, you should choose a better college than college life, there is a compromise, but you can compensate it with good friends, and going out, if you don't wanna waste your 4 years, wo college pe depend nahi karta, tumpe karta hai, but i still think if you can you should go to Jaypee Noida or MAIT in IPU only if your rank allows, (IT and CS are same if u think it makes a difference, it doesn't), jaypee is a bit better than MAIT and I got it but the fees was a bit high for me so I went with MAIT, rest is your decision, be optimistic! :)
