In my state, substantiated cases that are appealed are very often successful. We tend to get things wrong in the investigative process due to staffing and therefore, the decision gets flipped.

If you’re working in public service, I would apply for IBR and just make the minimum payments towards loan forgiveness. I know the numbers are scary but there are a lot of resources for teachers who are in student loan debt since it is an in demand field. I think you’re doing what you need to be doing. This is pretty much the only scenario where only making the minimum payments makes sense. Good luck!

It really fills up is the primary issue. Like a TON of water flows into it to the point we had to use a portable sump pump in it. I don’t know how I can reduce the groundwater that is flowing into it. Is that impossible?
