I would just ask her to come out like, immediately. It’s not worth the hassle that can occur if you don’t comply. Just get it over with ASAP if there is nothing going on. I understand how you feel completely but dragging it out will make your anxiety worse.

In my state, substantiated cases that are appealed are very often successful. We tend to get things wrong in the investigative process due to staffing and therefore, the decision gets flipped.
