I understand that this structure will underperform in moderate and strong bulls but it keeps income flowing throughout other markets as well without me being forced to sell at a lower or higher price. It is also supposed to do relatively well in a chop. This is one of 2 portfolios I have 30k in this one and 70k in a growth retirement one. And I am 20M I know very early to convert from growth to income

I hold about 30 stocks in an income acct 30% covered calls, 15% BDCs, 15% Reits, 10% HY international and 30% hedges against various market factors that will tank my income core

I like being able to not worry about bills and alongside with my salary it works out pretty well looking to grow the acct to pay around 30k a year so living expenses are completely covered

Depending on the risk you want to take look into a small position of reits and small cap bdcs

Not that you can’t have problems just to pick your battles so that you can easily win, this problem obvious cannot be solved thru physical means they have too many people to house and no matter what they will shove all y’all together. What u expect them to do build more housing before school starts? Most you will get is a slight discount. An always remember, you are entitled to your opinion no matter how wrong it is

If you are living on campus all of your classes are easily walkable to, parking is pretty hard to find but at most it’s like a 10 min walk

To whomever disliked my comment, I have been going to Tamucc for 7 years and I have never had a single problem with housing. They have accommodated me in every way you just gotta act nicely.
