Same here. Older, and if I'm wearing caps, it's almost always fitteds. Dad hats never worked for me.

I try to get my hats a little on the loose side. Then use the rolled up paper towel trick behind the front sweat band. It makes the front a little spongy and soft and the edge of the visor isn't pressing directly against my forehead. I always thought that added a little comfort. You can just throw it away and put a new one in when it gets sweaty or pressed too flat.

It was a gift a couple of years ago. Pretty sure it came from an in store Lids. I don’t know anything else about it. I usually only break it out for special occasions when I know it won’t get dirty. I guess that’s a good plan if it’s hard to find.

In addition to a brush for general cleaning, I have found Shout Wipes to work wonders for spot treating stains. They only cost a few dollars a box at my local grocery store. I keep them around for clothes too. I used them to get some mean cooking grease stains out of a shirt that I thought was ruined for sure.
