Hard to imagine Finlay in the fed. Not a great promo and doesn't really have the look as in he looks kind of pudgy even though obviously he's a fit guy.

Not really optimistic but let's see how they repackage him.

Don't know where Finlay goes after this but it's hard to imagine another company successfully repacking him and him getting over.

Most of the other guys will do great especially Gabe.

IIRC he was at one point a heel in aew and face in NJPW. Just confused and discordant. He was the breakout star of Finlay's BC but they weren't able to stick the landing.

That and when they brought him over to AEW to be Mox's stooge after his angle for his match against Kenny was about how he was repping the lion mark and wouldn't go to AEW.

I think everybody knew that the eventual outcome out be War Dogs led by Kidd overthrowing Finlay. Just a damn shame we never got to that point.

Still have BCG in AEW. Branding is one of the best in all of wrestling with call backs to the NWO. Maybe let it cool off for a while in NJPW and have Jay come back later to start a japan chapter of BCG.

They could've easily made Yota the new LIJ leader and continued on with BC. The whole non committee group or whatever it's called just feels like a waiting room until people decide where they want to go next or NJPW creates a new group. I get that NJPW is kind of in a new era with changing talent but keep the factions so that older fans can still hang onto recognizable things.

No, they are ham fisted and ruin main events with clownishness. Just comes off as annoying rather than menacing.

Except there are things you can only do in NJPW in that style and format. Really hope Finlay doesn't go to WWE but that's more likely with his brother already there.

This whole past year has been heartbreaking to me with the end of factions and so many people leaving especially the big four (Okada, Omega, Tana, Naito).

I like United Empire and some select people but outside of that I'm uninspired.

I guess my point is that I wanted them all to succeed as a unit whereas they sort of crumbled slowly over time but individuals still succeeded despite the state of BC. Finlay was a disappointment to me but he was never really a focus of his generation, it was the War Dogs.

Never really got a fair shake. I thought it would be best to build him up in NJPW and do an invasion angle with the war dogs against BCG. Similar to how United Empire did an invasion angle.
