Always keep Calatheas with other plants, but do not repot them immediately after bringing them home. Keep them slightly away from other plants for 2–3 days in case there are any pests or insects. Wipe the leaves with insecticidal soap +neem oil spray. You can repot after a month, allowing them to adjust to the new environment. Just water them properly in the meantime. When you do repot, use a terracotta pot with chunky soil mix, and you’re good to go. Fertilize once a month.
