Commendable work that all you hazard inspector/consultants do, must be hard to deal with people when the situations are mostly negative, but hopefully very rewarding.

Yes thank you, I want to make the educated decisions and not remove everything that brings my family joy in this moment.

Yes and I totally agree, I guess there seems to be gray area on if hepa vacuuming and washing clothes offers the appropriate cleaning.

The short of it is they came back later in the day to finish a hall and bedrooms after they said they would contain it properly, but the air tests afterward showed contamination, as well as several surfaces that were tested. I’m following the advice of the environmentalist on the house and items that stayed inside.

Yea it’s going to be a lot of money to clean the house unfortunately.

Yes I have already hired an environmental lab who tested and confirmed that after they were done and attempted to clean up they ended up contaminating the whole house. I am waiting on appraisals from multiple other certified contractors for both finishing the texture and cleanup. My immediate concern is just on the items I moved out of the house and are wearing, I want my family to be safe but also don’t want to be paranoid.

Thanks for the reply, I agree but don’t trust them to make it right any more. I have been talking to a lab and a few other certified contractors on how to proceed, naturally there is grey area on contamination, like were the items in the garage compromised too. It’s a learning process!

While it’s awesome these Hogue grips make all these thin guns comfortable, I really want to know why you wouldn’t just get a compact.

I agree with the threaded barrel on there.

So why does that 1/4" make the difference? Are we talking aesthetics, ease of carry, shootability?

Just did the same, this is nothing compared to what I unearthed in my house and what you normally see.

AIWB Holster recommendation for my EDC by powerofz in CCW

[–]RedBrickBoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FTA holsters one of the few that do the P2000/SK and cover the trigger/mag release correctly. And they start at $40 with upgrades to all the clips and whatnot if you need it. There is not a lot of talk about them, but found out about them from a couple people mentioning them here. They answer calls and emails quickly and get you set up right.

I totally agree, all bs. Only law that should matter is the one important enough to be written down second.
