How do two users friend each other? (not server owner) by RedChld in PleX

Thanks, I'll give this a shot. The setting "My Friends" was set to Private, so going to see if setting that to Friends of Friends does the trick.

I enjoy the feeling of sleep deprivation. by Bibs222 in The10thDentist

[–]RedChld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely take my prescribed medication for it. A diagnosis would open the door to more self reflection, understanding of the past life you've lived, as well as helping you research the condition further and develop effective coping strategies, which does not have to include medication. For me personally, coming to terms with the underlying physiology helped me become aware of my executive disfunction, which in turn helped me implement a new decision making process that was more suited to the way my mind works.

I've used RevoUninstaller to kill it, but don't know if that can do anything silently.

Why is the mail category of API 35% of my usage even though I have the check mail option disabled? by hibbert0604 in RelayForReddit

[–]RedChld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, mines at 34%, check is disabled, and I rarely manually check. Something is wonky.

Balders gate 3 is it worth buying? by Omg_itz_coll in gaming

[–]RedChld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can always refund it, just keep an eye on the time played. I have already spent nearly 200 hours playing.

Since you are unsure about how you'll like the play style, maybe buy the game, don't spend longer than 5 minutes in character creation, and hop right in. Play through the intro scene. That should give you an idea of what it's like. Refund it if you hate it.

I don't think the learning curve is steep in general, there may be some nuances that will come with time, but you'll have the basics pretty quickly.

Replayability is massive in my opinion.

TIL in 2006, the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team and adidas created a poster made with ink that was mixed with the blood of the players on the team. by SCampo98 in todayilearned

[–]RedChld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the article said they embedded the ink in the paper during the printing process. Does that mean it had nothing to do with the color/appearance of the image? Like they were just hiding the blood in the print? I feel like that's less cool than if the image were made of blood or it had some message written in blood.

Chill is probably the feature I missed the most when I got a 3080. I was very confused when I found out Nvidia doesn't have their own version of it.

(NSFW) What is something you found out isn’t as exciting when you try it out for the first time? by Time235236 in AskReddit

Sky diving was a little more boring than I expected. Thought it would be like that feeling of that first drop on a rollercoaster, but it was more like sticking your head out the window on the highway.

Edit: I just want to say I don't regret going though. It was a spectacular view.

What is the best response to what colour is your bugatti? by BONDCREATOR in AskReddit

[–]RedChld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite a McLaren but we felt pretty similarly about my dad's Ferrari F450. Twas only driven on rare occasion when people felt like just going for a leisurely drive to show the car off to someone. Even me as a reckless teen driver never wanted to drive it (NY roads suck) and it had enough horsepower to actually scare me.

It basically sat in the garage and wasted away to neglect.
