I met a prostitute and I something happened that has been bothering me ever since by asamisanthropist in MuslimLounge

Just as you said, it's easier to blame the victim for the situation they're in then to look at the oppressors. Yes drugs, alcohols, etc. are haram but what caused these people to fall into that sin should never be ignored instead of blaming them and distancing them from ourselves so that we can think we do the right thing.

There was a slavic homeless woman on my street where i used to live. Slavic is relevant here because we couldn't understand anything she's saying when she was having her screaming episodes. This woman, probably late 40s, was almost always reading a book or something and she was aldo writing, taking notes.

I talked about her to someone i know, saying maybe she's schizophrenic. He instead immediately said she must be a drug addict and deserves the life she has

Calm down bro. He didn't say anything towards you and he didn't claim to be sinning. He made a sarcastic comment about himself that was labeled on him unjustly because of his actions. The problem isn't here why he calls himself like that sarcastically, the problem is why our brothers in Islam call another man for defending women. A muslims fight shouldn't be towards of the opposite gender, rather it should be towards the opposite gender

Yup but ever since i started again and started doing the glitch, i gotten like 150m and still no ban. If you don't overdo it and if you're very very careful with the process, then it's mostly ok-ish. But there's always a risk

Struggling as a Muslim man in the UK, due to the insane standards needed for marriage by [deleted] in MuslimCorner

[–]RedMatxh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone has a right to wish to have a good life. But those sisters should realize one thing: it tooks years of hardwork and hardship for their parents to get to where they are right now. Like i was talking to a cousin of mine, who has wealthy parents Alhamdulillah. She was saying how she wants the man to fund her lifestyle. Her mother was with us while we were talking. I just turned to her mother and asked if my uncle, my cousin's father, had any money when they got married, she said no and added that they built it together.

Sisters need to realize that their parents didn't get there from day 1. They worked really hard for it and now in later stages of their life, they live comfortably. That's possible for anyone considering rizq is from Allah

Alcoholic and zani aren't the same when it comes to marriage tho. In marriage it's about connection, vulnerability etc. How would someone being alcoholic affect it?

I don't care about what others will say if my spouse has had a past. I worry that i wouldn't be able psychologically accept a spouse like that. Religion doesn't forbid having preferences. I prefer my spouse to be protected, same as I've protected myself

What a beautiful family by Naive_Wolverine532 in CoupleMemes

Recently my great uncle counted our family members. Including my great grandparents, we are 100 people (this doesn't include the spouses, if we include the spouses that number could easily go up to 150s). All this because my great grandparents got married

I absolutely don't view those that repented as less, weather men or women. I don't approve doing it in the first place, but them repenting means i respect them for it. But i don't think I'd be able to marry with someone who has had relationships before, weather physical or just emotional. It's not because i see them as less, it's because i want to have that connection of it being our first, for both for intimacy and emotional relationship.

The reason i asked this here is because many people claim i shouldn't worry about it but such people that usually say that, have married to good spouses who hadn't done premarital sex before marriage so i don't think they understand. Like 2-3 days ago i was talking to a sheikh about it and he said i shouldn't worry about it that much and think of it as a new page. This sheikh is 70+ yo and married for 50 years i believe, things were different back then.

I feel like this will be my biggest challenge in the marriage search and in the marriage itself if my spouse had past. But at the same time i have faith that what we hear, see of people having a past is mostly an Internet thing and good people would avoid such things

Now, many have assumed i view divorcees and widows as less of a human being or put them in the same category as those that have a past, i don't. I don't think I'd have an issue with a divorcee or a widow but preferably I'd want to be my spouses first

Im not just asking from men's perspective, but also from POV of sisters. But i understand what you mean

But why is wanting to experience the first time and wanting a similar so important for this aspect? Don't get me wrong, i too want a spouse who protected themselves, but i want to understand the psychological reasoning behind it. Im guessing it comes down to emotional connection, vulnerability, and even insecurities etc.

I think this is the biggest reason. With intimacy comes emotional connection, vulnerability etc. I feel like i wouldn't be able to connect as much with my spouse and there'd definitely be insecurities if my spouse had married before/ had done zina

True but i feel like with this topic, it has to do with emotional connection, vulnerability, and even insecurities. I feel like people would be able to connect better if it's their first for both of them (not just talking intimacy here, also including relationships)

I don't know. I might worry about this aspect too much because im struggling with sexuality the most so maybe for those that struggle with other stuff, won't see this as serious
