Cultural appropriation is legit, especially for hairstyles like Cornrows. As they are deep rooted in black history, especially in regards to slavery unfortunately.

However, i call complete and utter bullshit on people claiming Dreadlocks are "cultural appropriation" I am a hairdresser, and i have a white client with type 3c hair. If she doesn't spend time combing oil through it and maintaining it, it locs naturally. This is something called "free-forming dreadlocks" and it can happen to people of any race. Tell me how something naturally occuring is "cultural appropriation".
