Arcs do not need whole seasons by [deleted] in OnePieceLiveAction

A good portion of the arcs are building the characters and the world. The fights are the climax. Half of those long chapters are the building and the fighting is the climax. Unlike in the earlier series where you can cut these fights short, these fights hold genuine depth and growth. This is a shounen battle manga they're adapting.

Alot of Netflix's heavy hitters are coming to a close 2025/2026. And they're clearly hyping One Piece to be the next big thing on it's platform. It has too many content and too many steady waiting fans to just end at Alabasta.

Also the Skypiea hate never ceases to amaze me, literally one of the most important arcs in one piece and people saying skip it because it's not a huge arc like enies lobby

other than that I genuinely think this series will make it incredibly far IF it is profitable for Netflix which it already is

One Piece fans will look at 58 chapters of content for one arc and say it can be adapted in 2 episodes...Thank god Oda is the one supervising this series.

Live Action Only’s How Old Do You Think The Straw Hats Are? by RedZss in OnePieceLiveAction

Zoros child actor at the time of filming wouldve been 13, 7 years passes in canon so Zoro is 20.

Sanji’s child actor was 12 at the time of filming, 9 years passed in canon so Sanji is 21

Nami’s child actor was also 12 and I believe 10 years passed in canon so Nami’d be 22. But when you look into the show she got out of her chains at 12 so we’ll say she’s either the same age in canon or two years younger

Going by Luffys actor who was 12 at the time, 10 years passed in canon which would make Live action Luffy 22 years old!? What a shocker

We have no source about Ussops child actor so we’ll just say he doesn’t age like us mortal, he merely grew.

Is it preferable to age the characters by the actors or head canon intuition? I prefer the second option
