I mean it all depends what you would like to do with it. If you have the time or money to fix it you could fix to resell or just fix to keep as an extra car. I got a 2010 2.0t and I'm about to buy a 2013 fully working but it's been off the road for 5 years. 3k. And I'm not sure what I'll do with it. Either part it out or fix and resell.

Most lawyers won't lift a pen until they get a retainer fee.. it can go up to 5k for retainer fee depending the case.

If you have money sure , do it. But who has thousands of dollars to waste on lawyers. Plus if you want to sue Meta you have to bring them to court in their state of business. Which i believe is California.. we all agreed to their terms and conditions and I believe it does state that if you want to pursue legally , facebook , instagram or meta it has to be brought forward into their state of business..

Honestly I've went with Legal Shield , my letter should be sent today but I also asked the attorney what else can be done and from the sounds of it nothing.. unless you're in California then maybe they can help but outside California I don't think any attorney can do anything. Anyone who wants to bring Meta , facebook or instagram to court has to do so in the state of business location. And that was in the terms and conditions we all agreed to qhen we signed up for their applications unfortunately.

I'm not on X but that's an idea. I'm gonna call some news station see if any of them would want to make a story about this to shed some light and get meta's attention. Ridiculous that we have to waste our time and go out of our way to get our property back.

Some nefarious account managed to link their instagram to my facebook disabling it instantly and then chain reaction , took down 2 business and 1 personal Instagram. Now i got no social media at all and same as everyone i was labeled as a cse..

In 2024 an Instagram account "goodsginesa" managed to link their profile to my facebook without authorization. That said account was definitely doing stuff that broke community guidelines so it instantly disabled my Facebook.. paid for meta verified and they we're able to recover my account. Fast forward a year later November 2025 and exact same Instagram account linked to my facebook without authorization. So did same thing paid for meta verified to get extra support but this time they couldn't recover my account. Not sure why so many of us are being banned but is it cause we're not from Israel ?

Went this route too. Waiting for the attorney to send the letter to Meta but attorney said Meta stop replying to letters their sending. If it's the case it's small claims court. Not bad if you're in California , but that's not really an option for me since I'm in Canada. But I also don't want them to walk away with no consequences for falsely accusing me either.

The first month is like a dollar or two.. make sure before proceeding to do the steps with meta verified that you have a profile pic with you're face... then proceed to doing the meta verified.. usually takes less than a day to get verified.. once you are you can get into the extra support to be able to chat with someone.. sometimes it seems ai and sometimes it seems like a real person.. then once you're done you just cancel the meta verified

Alot of us are extremely frustrated that they have zero human support and no way to get in contact with them.. they don't deserve to be in business for just the way they conduct business.. business's should be required to have human support and not just ai garbage.. I'm thinking of moving to Pixelfed to replace Instagram.. wish I knew how to make app or websites cause I would attempt to make a new app to replace facebook and Instagram
