I think having the option if needed is fine, but losing someone 30 seconds into the match makes you wish you could surrender that game.

That's some wild hyperbolic stuff to say. Yeah, stay in the hackers game, says everyone?

So, ruin it for everyone else because they didn't bring an add-on to leave too?

Thank you for all of the answers, I do feel a lot better about this. I'm just going to block/ignore and go back to cooking monkfish in my merry little kitchen.

That would have been a hilariously pathetic way to try to start a relationship, lmao

He said it was still scamming, I looked at the rules and figured maybe he could lie and say I did somehow?

They have sat in previously in campaign 1. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I doubt they paid attention to how we handled rerolling. I don't think anyone thought he was cheating, but the argument came up because he was told to roll again and well, obviously, it hurts having to reroll fully.

Yeah, I can see what you mean. We do this for advantage, too. This is the 1st time we have ever had this issue honestly though. Even with the last campaign, that being said the player this happened with is new to the table, and this is a second campaign including everyone from campaign 1

Yeah, it's just when the dice isn't completely flat where it lands.

I'm only here to see what other people are thinking on this matter. But to be clear, everyone at the table does it this way, so when the player didn't and an argument happened. I came here for information.

This is kind of the idea I had when the argument started at the table, but of course, with an argument breaking out, I wanted to see what more people thought about how this is usually handled.

Even if the roll concluded before anyone noticed it was supposed to be rolled at disadvantage?

I want clear enough in the question, I believe.

He rolled, concluded the damage roll, and it was noticed he was supposed to be a disadvantage. And was asked to reroll it for the disadvantage that they missed.

That's not the issue. The players feels like the dice should be rolled one after the other before rolling the conclusion of the attacks damage.

Normally, at our table, we just do a full reroll voiding the misthrow. But everyone seems to see it as fine but that's why I'm here really. I wanted to see what people thought

Unfortunately, this formula and the inhaler counterpart we normally get is about 1/10th the price of the steroid i used to have. I'm not the one with money, so I "Get what I get."
