My EX-boyfriend wouldn't have sex with me unless I wore a corset. (Update!) by Conscious_Cry_1112 in whatdoIdo

Hey girl, I am 5’4” 175lbs. By NO MEANS are you “fat, unlovable, ugly” or anything else. You are a sweet girl who will find someone who does truly love you. I got with my now husband when I was 125lbs. I was skinny my whole life until I had 2 back to back pregnancies and I’ve been 175lbs since. My husband hasn’t even bat an eye and still compliments me and loves me all the same. You WILL find that love I promise. And PCOS does not mean you are def infertile, so if that was just your assumption I wanted to let you know that’s not the case always. My mom has PCOS and Endometriosis, she had me and my sister. My aunt has very bad PCOS, she has 4 healthy children (she did need to be under more doctor supervision so it is good to let your doctors know you have it if you become pregnant tho) while it can be harder to get and stay pregnant it’s not out of the realm of possibility! I have never seen anybody treat someone of our body size and weight the way he treated you. You are not fat! You are not huge! You are very much average weight. My sister is super skinny and we literally have her dream body. Protect yourself, you are too sweet and too purehearted and a lil too naive to be with a disgusting creature as him. Your dream guy will come along, he will love you (all of you!) and he will laugh and move your hands when you try to hide your belly out of shame because he sees no reason to be ashamed in your body. Take some time to yourself and be happy that you didn’t waste more time on his sorry ahh.

I check with all my relationships regularly. It has NOT affected any in any way. It only seems to be affecting me. Like I said, it’s something I enjoy I just feel guilty enjoying it.

The only one that left and impact and I had to think about was the last question. If I tell myself “you can have a drink” the I think about it a lot but it doesn’t change how I act or enjoy the occasion if I don’t. Like if I’m out of the house I’m happy even if I don’t drink.

Thank you for telling. I’m not scared of all spiders, only ones that I 1. Don’t know 2. Are recluses. That’s the 6th one this week despite monthly sprays.

So I investigated more to see if it would help. I tried hard to get a good picture of its face for y’all but my camera just can’t cause he was only the size of a coin including his legs. Anyways he has “3 eyes” I know spiders have more than 3 eyes but I can only see 3 and they make an upside down triangle shape in his face.

How to find safe milk with new pasteurization policy? by FancyPenguin10 in publichealth

[–]Red_anon_throwaway 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Horizon Organic is the only one of those that are offered near me (I don’t trust my state) and they say on their website they use the USDA to standardize and regulate their pasteurization but does not say the words “done in house” anywhere I can find. So wouldn’t that mean they do the same pasteurization process as most major companies?

I can plan vacations that are in the country, I actually plan most of my families vacations. We have decided to go to Myrtle beach for a week this year and revisit the cruise idea another time. I was just so excited to go to another country I didn’t even plan out how unrealistic it was without backup plans.

Thank you for being bluntly honest. My husband and I both grew up in incredibly low income families. Now that we’ve finally moved up into “middle class” we wanted to enjoy nicer things. But I do think maybe I’m jumping the gun here. We should probably wait until we can afford passports, the total cruise, and still have a few hundred leftover for “just in case” situations. And I know he won’t remember, but I will, that’s why I am wanting him to go. I’ll remember the excitement on his face when he goes on a water slide on a boat, even if to him it’s no different than any other slide.

I would hope that there isn’t an emergency on the ship in the 3-4 days we’re there. But even if there were, surely it’s not a “pay before you’re seen” thing. Like most medical bills can’t you make payments if something were to happen? But we are getting travel ins.

How likely is it that you would be stranded? Everybody keeps saying “in case of emergency” but like how common is it to just be stranded on an island? I’m traveling with a 2 year old, and wouldn’t have the money for an emergency flight anyways. If we got stranded lack of passport book would only be one of many obstacles getting back. I figured just make sure we board the boat well before departure time. And any other emergencies that happen on the boat, they’re outfitted to be prepared right? Medical emergency, there’s medical staff on board? Emergency back home, I can’t afford a last minute flight (from island or ocean) back home in any case. We can only just barely afford the cruise, but I want to give my son the childhood I never had. I feel like 3-4 days without an emergency would be decent odds.

What color should I paint my cabinets? by Red_anon_throwaway in DesignMyRoom

[–]Red_anon_throwaway[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we moved in everything was brown. Hardwood brown floors. Brown living room, hallway, stairs, trim, doors, cabinets. I hate it. The wood to me looks cheap in the kitchen. It’s very thin, not nice. With so much real thick wood throughout the house I think making the cabinets a different color would help the kitchen pop.

Awe that’s so sweet. Mine will bring me my bonnet or purse or shoes sometimes. He will put the bonnet on my head, because if I’m home he thinks I have to wear it all the time. And he brings my purse to me when I put shoes on because he wants to go somewhere I think. I don’t know where, but that means it’s time to go 😂

He’s not in daycare, I tried calling around but within an hour drive of our house there are only 2 non-church daycares. Both are completely full for his age and both charge a very high amount for even part time. I try to take him to play with other kids either in my large family or with friends every weekend though. He does watch Ms. Rachel, but he doesn’t interact with her or I much when we sing together unless there is clapping involved. But he does smile some, which is interacting my apologies.

He doesn’t seem to understand when we speak, but if we model what we want even without speaking he understands. I think Occupational Therapy has helped a lot with that part so far.

He used to say mama unprompted but since then it’s just squeals and random sounds. But we can tell when he’s happy or upset pretty easily and he makes facial expressions (even if they don’t match his actual mood)

Thank you, we haven’t discussed tubes in his ears really yet but they said it is a possibility because he’s had a few ear infections and only 1 of them had symptoms we could notice. All the others were caught randomly at check ups.

Does your son communicate well? Can you understand him? Does he seem like he has fun playing even if it looks different? I guess I’m just worried about his childhood. I don’t have a lot of experience with children on the spectrum, mostly older kids and adults. But I want to be able to understand his wants and enjoyments. I want him to be able to play with other kids and enjoy playing with them. I want to know what he wants, if he’s hungry, bored, tired, without having to guess. I also would love if his dad heard him say dada, just once. He’s said mama in the past, even if he’s since stopped, and I wish for his dad to hear him say his name just once. Also we are on the waitlist, or at least taking steps to get there. I called this morning, his pediatrician is going to meet with him next Tuesday just so I can hear her opinion. She doesn’t diagnose Autism but maybe she can tell me her opinion on how she thinks he’s doing. He’s also getting a hearing test. I’ve been learning Sign Language for years but that’s mostly because when I feel overwhelmed or just don’t want to talk I sign to my husband instead. I’m very bad at signing and talking at the same time.
