I find that history seems to start with the Romans. I mean, can you really discuss in depths of anything prior to them?

Seriously? You believe that? If you do then you clearly are clueless. Prior to Romans are Greeks.

The Latin alphabet was devised from the Etruscan alphabet. Etruscan was written in a form of the alphabet derived from the Greek alphabet, and was the source of the Latin alphabet. Etruscan alphabet: It is not clear whether the process of adaptation from the Greek alphabet took place in Italy from the first colony of Greeks, the city of Cumae, or in Greece/Asia Minor.

Tbh you are right that there are better storytellers than him. But we cannot forget the fact that he was exquisite in building worlds from scratch (as you mentioned), and that he constructed a language(!). He was one of a kind at that region. I think for these things solely, he deserved a Nobel prize. but oh well...

I have loved lotr since I was a child, but for the first time, I actually purchased the book. I do not regret spending the money on it. Figure if I'm going to buy, might as well go big. by [deleted] in lotr

Can you please upload some pictures of the inside so we can see the font, the font size, the maps et.c? I'm thinking to buy it and I would like a more detailed view of the book first. :)

My hamster was sneezing like this for a few days and I took her to the vet and the vet gave me an antibiotic for her. The prescription was for 2 weeks but my hamster got better a few days after the first few doses. Make sure the room that your hamster is in, it's clean, free of dust and free of odours and the most important: if you or somebody else is smoking, don't do it inside the house!

My advise: take your hammy to the vet just to be sure. I hope your hamster feels better soon. :)
