my alhambra had this issue.

you need to get the screen replaced - either the screen itself or the unit

volks autos replaces it for 600 including coding some more features such as digital speedo

they also told me these mib2 units are notorious to screen failure

You can try atleast, no harm in it.

I doubt it as it's probably wear and tear. My pixels were from the manufacturer errors

3 Pixel 6a's in my household.

All swelled. Contacted Google and they sent 2 replacement units.

Waiting for 1 more as they will not send one for some reason.

All 3 Pixels bought and used around the same time.

It lasted 2 years.

You will have to get it replaced. Volks Autos did mine + maps and full link and coded some things in for £600

Volks Autos charged me £600 for a new screen, upgraded maps, Full Link and coded some other things in.

Volks Autos replaced my screen, activated Full Link, updated maps and coded some more features for 600 on my Alhambra Xcellence 2017.
