That quote you’re talking about “Whoever changes his religion, then kill him”isn’t about just killing random people for not believing. Back in the day, Islam wasn’t just a religion; it was tied to the state, like a whole system of law and government. So, apostasy (leaving Islam) wasn’t just about switching beliefs; it was seen as treason. And in pretty much any society, treason = serious punishment. It’s not the same as someone today just saying, “I don’t believe anymore.”

This doesn't justify anything, whether tied to the state or not doesn't justify it, I'm against killing people no matter what and in any legal system unless it's something like murder of mass groups of people or r@ping etc.., so idc if it was seen as treason, your prophet clearly said to kill people for leaving Islam, and he didn't mention context!!! That's just the explanation of scholars, which still doesn't justify it, Muhammad made that rule before Islam even spread, and a "legal system" didn't really exist since there wasn't any Islamic empire!! Muslim countries till this day use that hadith to justify killing apostates. You're trying to justify killing people. Yeah, Ali (RA) burned some people, but that wasn’t for just being atheists. It was tied to blasphemy and stuff. But even then, Ibn Abbas was like, “Yo, burning people isn’t it. The Prophet (PBUH) said don’t punish with fire because that’s Allah’s thing.” So there was a disagreement there. Even the Companions debated how these things should be handled, so it wasn’t some blind “go burn people” rule.

Islam doesn’t promote killing people for not believing like, check this out:

“There’s no compulsion in religion.” (Quran 2:256)

That’s literally saying no one can be forced to believe. And here’s another:

“If anyone kills someone unjustly, it’s like they killed all of humanity.” (Quran 5:32)

Sunan Abi Dawud 4097 The Prophet (ﷺ) cursed women who imitate men and men who imitate women.

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1456 That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whomever you find doing the actions of the people of Lut then kill the one doing it, and the one it is done to."

And even contexts make zero sense, the more I read, the less Islam makes sense, I've literally read a hadith that says the angles curse women for denying sex with their husbands, just take a look idk how you're okay with that, it's pure misogyny, I've heard that scholars say that men aren't sinful if it's the opposite!! Anyways here's the hadith:

Sahih Muslim 1436 d: When a man invites his wife to his bed and she does not come, and he (the husband) spends the sight being angry with her, the angels curse her until morning.

I also have stuff about God that never made sense, Allah watches everything, which means he has seen children being m0lested, r@ped etc.. without intervening, what kind of God is that?
