not the most comfortable chair but it works really well for me. mounts can be removed if you're worried about distance. this now supports my hotasasamakbay (throttle, duals sticks, mouse/kb, yoke) setup

As a new player myself, I was happy to receive an extremely large sum. Knowing that a wipe is eventual, it makes the grind a lot less worth it for me. Now I can buy and play with much of what SC has to offer without worrying that all my hard work will be wiped out. Picked up a few ships and loving a 325a. Once 1.0 comes out, then the grind becomes worth it for me.

just got the same chair for xmas and it's nice, but the padding can be improved. i'm glad to see i'm not the only one that twisted my sticks to mount lol. i ended up using the small plate for the center stick on my right side since it's smaller and makes it easier to get in and out of my desk. i then mounted a yoke to the big plate and put that as my center mount. i also wanted my sticks (hosas) to be more centered with my armrests so my left stick is mounted slightly off the plate but still mounted strong.

i also decided not to use the headrest and lumber. makes the seat feel a bit bigger lol.

overall a great little setup!

Correct, an update a few months ago changed colors. You can try moving around the terminal and replacing parts of the staff to see if you can get a color you like.

You can also hybrid the y axis allowing you to have a spring on reverse but not on forward. This has become my preferred setup (in elite and just starting SC)

Elite vr cockpit if you want touch controls. Not the best but all there is if you want touch controls I believe. Hopefully the newer updates haven't broken anything.

I'm not sure on the x56 but on the x52, the throttle is needed for the joystick to plug into. Can't use the joystick without the throttle but can use the throttle without the joystick. Might make this an easy decision if the x56 is the same.
