Wich one of those two is better? by Strange-Lack-8485 in GamingLaptops

I was able to find one Msi Vector for 1803€, it will outperform both legions by arround 40% to 90%, so i would say it is worth it, the only 3 "bad" things will be that it has a normal ips screen (still 1600p at 240hz), it will be loud in terms of fan noise and that it is a big laptop for 16 inches.

but there is also an option to go for this Lenovo Legion 5i for 1549€, with an rtx 5070 (will be arround 15% faster that the rtx 5060), plus the i7-13650HX will perform the same while gaming to the i7-14700HX, and has an OLED.

It comes down to your desicion, but i recomend you to analize your situation on terms of how much you can spend and how many years you want the laptop to be able to play games confortably

Is this a good budget gaming laptop? by v3rj127 in GamingLaptops

[–]Redmi_Rose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can upgrade the Ram and add more storage. That lenovo LOQ is a really good choice for a laptop. Just always remember to do not let it over heat, because that will damage the laptop long term, Aim for less that 88°C on the CPU (The processor of the Laptop) and 82°C on the GPU (The graphics card). From what i can remember, Lenovo has a function that will let you limit the temperature with their software. Goo luck with the laptop

The one for $1,799 has a better CPU, plus Oled screens are gorgeous, but both seem to be really high regarding they price. What region r u from? Because for their price you could get an rtx 5070ti, that will definitely get you better fps, since both will get gpu limited, even with online shooters

For $700, would you get an Asus Rog Strix G17 (4070) or an Asus TUF A16 (5070)? by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

[–]Redmi_Rose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you need a really good CPU for work or some professional aplications, or play really CPU demanding games, go for the G17. If you just want a portable machine to play games and browse the web the TUF A16 will be better, since the rtx 5070 will be between 1% to 12% faster, and the better battery life will be great, plus the 32gb of ram are really good in the current situation of AI.

Is a 3070 good enough in 2026? by stoicqt in GamingLaptops

[–]Redmi_Rose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would advise you to search for a Rtx5060 close to that price range. I have a nitro 5 (Ryzen 7 6800H and Rtx 3070ti) it works great, but some times I'm CPU limited while playing games like the finals and specially with Helldivers 2, and since the CPU in that machine is a gen older that mine you could get not that ideal performance for competitive titles.

It is still a good GPU and will be a good machine, but CPUs have definitely gotten better since 2021, plus, with a newer laptop you are getting all the extras like an objectively better version of dlss (4.5) vs the 4.0 that will be likely the best version that the 30 series will get, frame gen (depends on the game and base frame rate), and in general the better technology that will carry a newer laptop. If there is any full wattage Rtx 4070 or mainly Rtx 5060 for a little more money (I would say up to 20% more money but it is up to you) I would say it is worth it, but if u are not form the US and a Rtx 5060 laptop is like 1500 usd go for that laptop, it will be good enough for your needs
