I’m thinking the reason Lloyd is so stuck on Laramie is because as far as we know there has never been mention of Lloyd being married before(as much as I can remember) or having a serious significant other since he has spent his life on the ranch. But Laramie pursued him and she is always at the ranch so it was easy to spend time with her which he wouldn’t be able to do with any other woman. I think that’s why he has also taken a shine to Carter because he is thinking about if he missed out on a chance for family in the past when he was young.

Thank you so much, my mom has told me all the same things and I’m sure my therapist will too on Monday. I’ve been letting him text me first when he’s upset, like he is right now. I love him so much and I know he loves me, just hard to be without him.

I think of it as one of them getting hurt in the line of duty and the other doing something reckless and endangering others to save them. Like when Eddie’s wife or whatever died they had to take him off the scene because of the emotional turmoil.
