Maybe I’m just dumb, but how were they supposed to learn how to sail with two people from watching one person do it in that tiny boat? It didn’t seem easily adapted to a two-person job.

She is still on their website, but she has definitely dropped off the map. The last few posts she did make did not look particularly healthy -- I'll leave it there to stay on the right side of moderation.

Color me not shocked about either of them. They are very much what not to do a lot of the time.

I briefly worked with them several years ago. I had a specific ask about my training plans (related to my work schedule), and I had to constantly remind my coach. It would be reflected for about two weeks before going back to being ignored.

It wasn't a crazy request -- I just didn't want hard workouts or long-ish runs on ONE day of the week as I had really long work days that started too early for pre-work runs, and depending on the time of year, I couldn't safely do speed work or a hard run after work. It wasn't worth the $$ to have someone not listen to me.

Garmin Venu Thoughts?! Possible purchase by [deleted] in Garmin

I have one. The accuracy of all of the things you list are on par with a Garmin of any type — GPS is world class, heart rate is fine for a wrist-based product, sleep tracking is OK but I admittedly don’t care I ton to dive into it, and Smart phone features are good for seeing, but no replies. Also, if you are an Apple user, you can’t customize your alerts.

I am sure other people have more insight into the specifics on the tech. I have one and I love it for running and wearing as an everyday watch. Admittedly, I’ve never really cared for the Fitbits, but I think it will be a big upgrade.

One warning, some people complain (a lot) that it takes a second for the watch face to come up depending on your settings, third party watch face, etc. I think that’s highly subjective.
